Lloyd Wayne Jackson, age 79, departed this life on Tuesday, August 31, 2021 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Cincinnati, OH. He was born in Bedford, Trimble County, KY on September 24, 1941 to Walter Benjamin and Bertha Mae Stone Jackson. Lloyd was a member of Whites Run Baptist Church and was owner of Jackson and Son Construction, was a former over-the-road truck driver, hauling a variety of products and materials. He farmed at one time in his life, was a hardworker and enjoyed repairing old tractors. Of the many things in life that Lloyd enjoyed doing, playing his banjo was a favorite.
He is survived by his wife; Stella (Fox) Jackson, a son; Terry (Sherry) Jackson of Carrollton, KY, two sisters; Lois Adair and Ellen Wilhoite of Bedford, KY, three grandchildren; Janee’ Short, Gene Wilhoite and Aaron Robbins, four great-grandchildren; Kaydence Smith, Skyler Rae Robbins, Aaron Christopher Lee Robbins and Sierra Robbins. He was preceded in death by his parents, his daughter; Melessa Ann Jackson, two sisters; Gladys Martin and Wanda Jackson and four brothers; Alford, Cowboy, William and Sidney Jackson.
