Katherine Saberton

Katherine June Murphy Saberton was the Daughter of the late Elliot McKenzie Murphy and the late Bertha Marie Scheckler Murphy. She was married to the late Johnston Rice Saberton who passed away on August 23, 1978.

June retired in 1985 from the U.S. Shoe Corporation in Vevay IN. She was a Member of the Order of Eastern Star in Carrollton, KY., the Ghent Woman's Club in Ghent, KY., and a Member of the Ghent Baptist Church in Ghent, KY.

Survivors include a Daughter; Deborah M. Allphin and her Husband; Bobby Allphin of Ghent, KY., she is also survived by Three Grandchildren; Angie Kittle of Crestwood, KY., Amber Allphin of Lexington, KY., and Charles Allphin of Tampa, FL., Five Great Grandchildren also survive.

She was preceded in death by her Parents, Husband, a Sister; Doris McGivern and Two Brothers; Rex and Bill Murphy.

The Rev. Larry Birkhead will conduct the Funeral For June on Friday. Pallbearers for June's Funeral will be Charles Allphin, Buddy Kittle, Tyler Stewart, Josh Kittle, Evan Stewart and Bobby Allphin.

Memorial Gifts may be given to the Ghent Baptist Church.
