Johnnie Darrell Tilley, passed away on January 12, 2026, in Louisville, Kentucky, at the age of 51. Born on March 6, 1974, in Louisville, Johnnie lived a life marked by love, commitment, and a deep appreciation for the great outdoors.

He was known for his dedication and hard work as a forklift operator for Abzac in Carrollton, KY, where he was respected by both his colleagues and supervisors. Outside of his professional life, Johnnie enjoyed a variety of hobbies that brought him joy, including fishing, golfing, hunting, and camping. His passion for the outdoors was only surpassed by his love for his family, with whom he cherished spending time.

Johnnie is survived by his beloved wife, Amanda Tilley of Carrollton, KY, along with his children: Callie of Madison, IN, Kaylee Tilley of Richmond, KY, Michael Lynn of Frankfort, KY, Dylan Tilley of Richmond, KY, and his stepdaughters, Lynna Bitzel of Madison, IN, Cheyenne Marker of Illinois, and stepson Thomas Chadwell of Madison, IN. He also leaves behind his father, Johnnie Carol Tilley of Bedford, KY, his mother, Judy McClellan of Campbellsburg, KY, and his siblings: sisters Angie Tilley of Bedford, KY, and brothers Josh Tilley, Doug Tilley, and Adam Tilley, all of Carrollton, KY. Additionally, Johnnie is remembered fondly by his eleven grandchildren, who brought immense joy to his life.

Johnnie's spirit will be honored in a visitation at Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home, located at 809 Highland Ave, Carrollton, KY, on January 16, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 1:30 PM, followed by a funeral service beginning at 1:30 PM.

He was preceded in death by his stepson, Bradyn Chadwell, whose memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved him.

Johnnie Darrell Tilley will be remembered as a man who embraced life fully, fostering connections with nature and family. His legacy of love and dedication will continue to shine in the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing him.
