Jerry Skirvin

Jerry Wayne Skirvin, 75, of Carrollton, KY, died on Wednesday, March 16, 2016 at his residence in Carrollton, KY.
He was born on April 7, 1940 in Carroll County, KY, the son of the late Benjamin Harrison Skirvin and Della Eugenia Ashcraft Skrivin. He was retired from the former Parkview I.G.A. in Carrollton as the Produce Manager. He had also worked for N.A.P.A. Auto Parts in Carrollton. He was of the Apostolic Pentecostal faith and a Kentucky Colonel. He had served with Army National Guard Unit in Carrollton.
He is survived by a daughter, Mary Liesa (Lloyd) Wilson of Milton, KY, a son, Mike (Debbie) Murphy of Middletown, KY, three sisters, Ella Frances Wright of Carrollton, KY, Wanda (John) Licklider of Carrollton, KY, and Sue (Ronnie) Downey of Port Royal, KY, seven grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren also survive.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Margaret Ellen Skirvin on September 15, 2014, a son, Russell Murphy, four brothers, Sam "Tubby" Skirvin, Benji "Ben" Skirvin, Kenneth "Kenny" Skirvin and Melvin Hopkins and a half sister, Leona Harmon.
Arrangements are entrusted with the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home.
Visitation
Visitation will be on Saturday, March 19, 2016 from 10:00 A.M. - 1:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
Funeral
Funeral Services will be on Saturday, March 19, 2016 at 1:00 P.M. at the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home with the Rev. Dr. Chris White officiating the service.
