Jason Howard Kelly, 45, of Carrollton, Carroll County, KY, known affectionately as "Baby J", passed away on Thursday, July 11, 2024, in Louisville, Jefferson County, Kentucky. He was born on August 2, 1978, in Louisville, Jefferson County, Kentucky. Jason spent his professional career working for PMC Organometallix in Carrollton as a chemical operator.
Those who knew Jason remember him as someone who always loved living life by the seat of his pants. His hobbies and interests included playing the drums, enjoying music, playing pool, taking risks with monumental benefits, and going to the creek crossing with his brother Shane.
He was a member of the Sons of the American Legion in Carrollton.
Jason leaves a legacy of fond memories and a circle of loved ones who will miss him dearly. He is survived by his companion, Sara Wilson of Carrollton; his son, Logan Kelly (Emily Masters) of Carrollton; his mother, Linda McDole Clark of Prestonville; his stepmother, Vicki Kelly of Eminence; a stepdaughter, Kayla Britton of Carrollton; a brother, James Breeden of Bedford, KY, a stepsister, Tiffany Clark of Carrollton; and a stepbrother, Josh Ferrell of Frenchburg, KY.
He was predeceased by his father Randy Kelly and a brother Christopher "Shane "Kelly.
A visitation to honor Jason's life will be held on Saturday, July 20, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home in Carrollton. This will be followed by a Funeral Service at 12:00 PM at the funeral home. Interment will be in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Carrollton.
Jason Howard Kelly will be remembered for his adventurous spirit and the love he shared with those around him.
