Jack Lloyd Yates, age 74,  a beloved husband, father, and friend, passed away peacefully at his home in Perry Park, Kentucky on Saturday, January 13, 2024. He was born on October 21, 1949, in Dayton, Kentucky, to his loving parents Jack Edward Yates and Jackie Schrieber.

Jack's journey through life was marked by dedication, hard work, and a passion for making people smile. He began his career at Proctor and Gamble Company in Cincinnati, Ohio. Jack's love for food led him to a unique role as a taste tester for Pringles Potato Chips at Proctor and Gamble. With an impeccable palate and a discerning taste, he ensured that each chip brought joy to countless individuals around the world. After an impressive 29 years with the company, Jack retired as an Analytical Lab Technician.

Education played an important role in Jack's life. He was a proud graduate of Bellevue High School where he honed his skills and laid the foundation for future endeavors. Throughout his life, he displayed a thirst for knowledge and a commitment to personal growth.

Beyond his professional achievements and educational pursuits, Jack valued relationships above all else. He shared his life's journey with his beloved wife Elizabeth Ruef Yates of Perry Park, Kentucky. Together they created a home filled with love, laughter, and fond memories. Their playful banter and knack for joking around brought immeasurable joy to their lives.

In addition to his wife Elizabeth, Jack leaves behind a legacy of love through sons Jason (Sherri) Yates of Cincinnati, Ohio; Joshua Yates of Augusta, Kentucky; David (Janet) Dooley of West Liberty, Kentucky; Michael Dooley of Perry Park, Kentucky; a daughter Jodi (August) Bielinski of Sardis, Tennessee; and sister Jane Profitt of Erlanger, Kentucky. His unwavering love and support will forever be cherished by his eight grandchildren, who were the apple of his eye.

Jack's leisure time was an opportunity for him to indulge in his passions. He had a profound love for fishing and shared his expertise as a fishing tour guide. The tranquil waters and the serene surroundings provided him solace and allowed him to appreciate the beauty of nature. Jack found peace in the rhythmic motion of casting his line into the water and patiently waiting for the fish to bite.

As we bid farewell to Jack, let us remember him for his vibrant spirit, genuine kindness, and unwavering love for his family. He touched the lives of many with his infectious laughter, warm smile, and timeless wisdom. Though our hearts are heavy with grief, let us find solace in knowing that his memory will forever live on through the countless lives he has impacted.
