Hazel Flannery

Hazel Couch Flannery, age 77, of Alexandria, KY, formerly of Wheatley, KY died Monday, January 22, 2018 at her sister’s home in Williamstown, KY.  She was born on May 3, 1940, in Hazard, Perry County, KY to George and Berthie Couch.  She was a homemaker, in home caregiver and enjoyed going to church and reading.

Survivors include three sons, Michael (Tabatha) Flannery of Florence, KY, Jimie (Dorothy) Flannery of Worthville, KY and Robert (Rena) Flannery of Alexandria, KY, two sisters, Laura Wright of Williamstown, KY and Rushie Baker of Campbellsburg, KY, a brother, Herman Couch of Wheatley, KY, 13 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, James Habron Flannery in 2015, a son, Alvin Flannery and four brothers, Curt, Taylor, Junior, Shirl, Vernon and Burt Couch.
