Gigi Francine Rodgers

Gigi Francine Rodgers, 65, of Carrollton, KY, passed away at her home watching her Riverview on Friday, July 31, 2026. She spent her life bringing beauty to her community, transforming houses into homes with her painting and tile work. Now, we imagine she's painting the sunsets, filling the skies over our little town with the same beauty she left in the hearts and homes of so many.

Gigi was born on December 6, 1960, in Appleton, Wisconsin. She grew up in Minnesota before making her way to Kentucky, where she built a home and a life for herself and her family.

Gigi was preceded in death by her husband, Byron Edwards Rodgers; her mother, Linda Lou Leifker; and her father, George Washington Flanders.

Gigi is survived by her children, Madison Tyler Rodgers, Cody Russell Rodgers, and Cass Svitak; her brother, Marc Richard (Colleen) Flanders; her sister, Tina Sue Nieto; her sister-in-law, Denise (Bud) Beegle; her nephews, Matthew (Cheslie) Beegle and Taylor (Marian) Beegle; her nieces, Ellie (Tony) Flanders and Sarah Flanders; and her grandchildren, Miles Wrazidlo, Harrison Beegle, and Evelyn Beegle. She leaves behind so many friends and good neighbors. 

The Family will hold a private celebration of her life at a later date hosted by the family.
