Gary Lee Martin

Gary Lee Martin, born on August 26, 1959, in Carroll County, Kentucky, passed away peacefully at home on February 9, 2026, surrounded by his beloved family. He was a cherished husband, father, step-father, brother, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Gary dedicated over forty seven years of his life to PMC-Organometallix as a Lab Technician, a role that exemplified both his commitment to his work and his desire to contribute positively to those around him. His skills and dedication made a lasting impact on his colleagues and the community.

In addition to his professional life, Gary had a wide array of interests that brought him joy. He was an avid golfer, enjoyed woodworking, and cherished the time spent camping. His passion for dirt racing and love of cars were also significant aspects of his vibrant personality, which he shared with friends and family alike.

Gary is survived by his devoted wife, Nancy Darlyne Martin; his daughter, Brittany D. Martin of LaGrange, KY; and his step-daughters, Dena M. (Clyde) Hunt and Joetta L. (Amanda) Hayden, both of Milton, KY, along with Amy Hayden of Milltow n, Indiana. He also leaves behind a loving sister, Shirley (Paul) Beard of Madison, Indiana, and a brother, Todd Martin of Jeffersonville, Indiana. His legacy continues through his grandchildren: Skyler, Hanna, Wyiatt, Mckenna, and Bryce, as well as his great-grandchildren: Skylinn, Vander, Wrenna, and Waylon.

Gary was preceded in death by his father, Clifford Lee Martin, and his mother, Betty Jean Meadows Martin Ward, who welcomed him into eternal rest.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during the visitation on February 12, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 PM. Both events will be held at Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home, located at 809 Highland Ave, Carrollton, KY 41008.
