Frances Pauline Dermon

  Frances Pauline Dermon, of Carrollton, KY, passed away on August 24, 2023, in Warsaw, Gallatin County, KY, at the age of 84. Frances was born on February 25, 1939, in Carrollton, Carroll County, KY, the daughter of the late William Thomas Bickers and Margaret J. Carter Bickers.

  She graduated from Carrollton High School in 1957, was a homemaker, and loved spending time raising her family. She found joy in creating a warm and loving home for her family. Frances was a loving wife to Franklin B. "Frank" Dermon, whom she married on September 1, 1956.

  Frances had many passions and interests throughout her life. She particularly loved to paint ceramics crafts and had a talent for bringing beauty to her creations. Additionally, she had a deep affection for cats and enjoyed raising them as part of her family.

  She is survived by her two sons, Jeffery Allen "Jeff" Dermon of Carrollton, KY, and Bryan Keith (Amy) Dermon of Sanders, KY. Her brother Leroy Bickers of Carrollton, KY also survives her, along with seven grandchildren who were the light of her life. Her legacy extends beyond as she is also survived by two great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

  Frances was preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband Frank, her sisters, Cheryl Bickers and Linda Perkins, and a brother, Tommy Bickers. 

  Funeral Services will be on Tuesday, August 29, 2023, at 1:00 P.M. at the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home with the Rev. Carroll "Bimp" McAlister officiating the service.  Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. - 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday, August 29, 2023, at the funeral home.  The interment will take place in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Carrollton following the funeral service.

  Frances Pauline Dermon will be remembered for her nurturing spirit, artistic talents, and love for her family. She will forever hold a special place in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her. Frances's memory will live on through the love she shared and the legacy she leaves behind.
