Floyd H. Ritchie, age 71, of Carrollton, KY, died on Friday, August 1, 2014 at the Hosparus Inpatient Care Center in Louisville, KY.

He was born November 2, 1942 in Smithfield, Henry County, KY, the son of the late Louis Benjamin Ritchie and Flora Lee Tinsley Ritchie. He was a graduate of the Lincoln Institute in Shelbyville, KY. He was retired from the former Ameriform Manufacturing Company in Milton, KY, as an Assembly Line Technician. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of LaGrange. In his spare time he enjoyed Golfing, Playing Tennis and Skiing.

He is survived by his wife, Doris Jean Brightwell Ritchie of Carrollton, KY, his son, Shannon Travaz Ritchie of Frankfort, KY, two daughters, Sherry Lavon Moore of Louisville, KY and Sierra Ritchie of Carrollton, KY, three brothers, Charles (Shirley) Ritchie of Marietta, GA, Authur Lewis (Ruth) Ritchie of Louisville, KY, Willie Lee (Valarie) Ritchie of Louisville, KY, three sisters, Mary Laverne (Ed) Brown of New Liberty, KY, Barbara Jean Ritchie Turner of Louisville, KY, and Betty Ann Ritchie of Nashville, TN, a step-brother, Frank (Margaree) Jordan of Louisville, KY, a step-sister, Etta Johnson of Cincinnati, OH, two grandchildren and five great grandchildren, along with several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral Services were on Friday, August 8, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. at the Family Worship Center in Carrollton, KY. Visitation was on Thursday, August 7, 2014 from 5:00 P.M.-8:00 P.M. at the Family Worship Center in Carrollton. Burial wss in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Carrollton.

Arrangements are entrusted with the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home.
