Ernestine Sanders

Ernestine Jones Sanders, 87, of Carrollton, KY, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 13, 2016 at the Signature Healthcare of Carrollton.
She was born on October 19, 1928 in Carroll County, KY the daughter of the late Ernest and Lena Coghill Jones. She retired from the Carroll County Water District #1 in Ghent, KY, as a Bookkeeper in 2006. She was a member of the Carrollton Christian Church for many years.
She is survived by a son, Barry (Margo) Sanders of Crestwood, KY, two daughters, Renee (Wayne) Drury of Kirkland, WA, and Regina (Jerry) Smith of La Grange, KY, eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren also survive.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Roy Glyn Sanders on January 2, 2010 and a brother, Hubert Jones.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be given to the Carrollton Christian Church or The Hospice of The Bluegrass Northern Kentucky.
Arrangements are entrusted with the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home.
Visitation
Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. - 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday, February 17, 2016 at the Carrollton Christian Church.
Funeral
Funeral Services will be on Wednesday, February 17, 2016 at 1:00 P.M. at the Carrollton Christian Church with the Rev. Timothy Polley officiating the service.
Interment
Indiana Veterans Memorial Cemetery - Madison, IN.
