Elmer Pyles, 68, of Carrollton, KY., died on Tuesday, August 17, 2010 at the Norton Audubon Hospital in Louisville, KY.
He was a retired truck driver for Pierce Concrete Company and of the Baptist Faith.
He is survived by a son; Todd (Terri) Pyles of Carrollton, KY., step-daughter; Sandra (Charles) Frazier of Vevay, IN., a step-son; Kenneth (Dawn) Miller of Worthville, KY., sister; Alice Peucker of Philadelphia, PA., and Martha Ann Pyles of Bedford, KY., ten grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; Paul and Martha Pyles, wife; Mary Doll Pyles on November 2, 2009, a step-son; Raymond Charles Miller, sisters; Elizabeth Pyles and Norma J. Chilton, brothers; William (Bill), Lyter, Harold (Mose) and Austin Pyles.
Graveside Services were at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, August 20, 2010 at the English Cemetery with the Bro. Randy Doll officiating the service.
