Elizabeth Jo Sanders

Elizabeth Jo Sanders, a dedicated homemaker known for her unwavering love and devotion to her family, passed away on January 30, 2024, in Carrollton, KY. Born on December 30, 1951, in Prestonville, KY, Elizabeth led a life filled with simple pleasures and cherished moments.

Elizabeth's life will be commemorated through visitation and memorial services to be held at the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home on March 15, 2024. The visitation will take place from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, followed by the memorial service at 1:00 PM. Friends and acquaintances are invited to celebrate Elizabeth's life during these gatherings.

Throughout her years, Elizabeth found joy in playing Bingo and treasured every moment spent with her family. Her warm presence and nurturing spirit touched the lives of many who had the privilege of knowing her.

Elizabeth is now reunited with her beloved husband, James (Jim) Steven Sanders, father Herbert Hayden, mother Martha Elizabeth May,  her sisters Brenda Helm, Becky Ward, Nellie Hayden, and brother James Hayden who have gone before her.

She leaves behind a legacy of love and fond memories for her surviving family members.  Her daughter, Ellen (Chris) Erwin and sons, James (Repunzel) Sanders, Ray Sanders and Michael Hayden, her sisters Diana Tingle, Dianna Rachel Lions, brother Larry Hayden along with five cherished grandchildren also survive her.

In the hearts of those who knew her best, Elizabeth will forever remain a beacon of love and kindness. May she rest in eternal peace knowing that she was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed.
