Elfrieda Calvert

Elfrieda Calvert, 88, of Bedford, Trimble County, KY, died on Sunday, July 14, 2019 at the Norton Hospital in Louisville,  Jefferson County, KY.

She was born on August 29, 1930 in Carroll County, KY, the daughter of the late James Albert Thompson and Lillian Taylor Thompson.  She had retired from the Reliance Electric Company in Madison, IN, as a factory line worker.  She attended Campbellsburg Christian Church.  She enjoyed reading and spending time on the water.  She loved to spend time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her two grandsons, James Travis Calvert and Tyler Crafton Calvert, both of Bedford, KY, two great grandchildren, Grant Lee Calvert and Logan James Calvert, both of Bedford, KY, her daughter in-law, Brenda Calvert of Bedford, KY.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Chester Lee Calvert on March 20, 2012, her son, James Lee Calvert on March 30, 2003, a sister, Margaret Callis and a brother, Wilbur Thompson.
