Edward Joseph Hauber, Jr., age 65, of Carroll County, KY died Saturday, October 22, 2016 at the Hosparus Inpatient Care Center in Louisville, KY. Edward was born in Louisville, KY on December 22, 1950 to the late Edward Joseph (Sr.) and Anne Marie Higgins Hauber. He was employed at Philip- Morris Co. in Louisville, KY from 1975 — 2000 and honorably served in submarine service of the U.S. Navy for 4 years and was a member of the American Legion Post #41, Carrollton, KY. He also had a passion for breeding and racing horses.
Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Leona M. (Richter) Hauber, a son, Edward Joseph (Susan) Hauber III of Sanders, KY, a sister, Deborah A. (Jimmy) White of Louisville, KY, five grandchildren, Marainda Service, Danielle Downey, Adam Hauber, Jeffery Penick and Jacob Hauber and seven great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Lynn Shaughnessy.
