Duke D. Burrell, age 54, departed this life on Tuesday, September 8, 2020 at his home with family near. He entered this world on February 27, 1966 in Louisville, Jefferson County, KY to Duke Tinker and Fitzgerald Burrell. Duke was a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Louisville and attended Family Worship Center in Carrollton, KY. He was a roller mill operator at North American Stainless in Ghent, KY and a graduate of Valley High School in Louisville, KY. He also enjoyed basketball, cowboy movies and spending time with his family.
His survivors include; his wife Pam Green Burrell, two daughters; Ashly Burrell and her fiance’ Laquan Walton of Louisville, KY, and Angel Ramirez of Carrollton, KY, two sons; Matthew Burrell and Khristian Burrell, both of Carrollton, KY, his mother; Fitzgerald Joseph and her husband, Sylvester of Louisville, KY, a sister; Marisha Tinker of Louisville, KY, two brothers; Derrick Duncan and Jonathan Tinker, both of Louisville, KY, three grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father; Duke Tinker and a sister; JoAnn Burrell.
A Memorial Service will be held at 6:00 P.M., Monday, September 14, 2020 at the Family Worship Center with the Rev. Cody Brown officiating. Pass through visitation will be 4:00 P.M. – 6:00 P.M. on Monday at the church.
Due to the current Covid-19 restrictions and the new reopening requirements we will be limited to the church’s building occupancy to 50% of normal capacity, so please be prepared for a possible line as we will be monitoring the occupancy. We will also be strictly adhering to the 6 feet social distancing requirements and all attendees will be required to wear a face mask.
