Dohana Burford

Dohana Burford, 76, of Owenton, KY, died on Wednesday, July 4, 2018 at the St. Elizabeth Hospital in Edgewood, KY.

She was born on May 16, 1942 in Hazard, Perry County, KY, the daughter of the late Boyd Wooten and Nellie Witt Wooten.  She had been a housewife all her life.

She is survived by her two son's, Stanley Burford of Lawrenceburg, KY, and J.W. Burford II., of Owenton, KY, a daughter, Nellie Burford of Louisville, KY, a sister, Ann Jolley of Owenton, KY, a brother, Burt Wooten of Owenton, KY, along with several grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, J.W. Burford, a son, Jay Allen Burford, two sisters, Amanda Perry and Molly Wooten, two brothers, Abner and Zack Witt.

Arrangements are entrusted with the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home.
