Dennis Guy Webster, a dedicated public servant and beloved family man, passed away on April 1, 2026, in Carrollton, Kentucky. Born on November 3, 1951, in Carroll County, KY, Dennis spent his life rooted deeply in the community he loved and served.

A graduate of Carroll County High School in 1970, Dennis embarked on a career marked by steadfast commitment and hard work. He retired from Carrollton Public Works after years of service and also contributed as a maintenance worker at General Butler State Park and Kentucky Ladder. Beyond his professional roles, Dennis devoted a decade of volunteer service to Carroll County EMS, demonstrating his unwavering dedication to the well-being of his neighbors.

Dennis was honored as a Kentucky Colonel, a distinction reflecting the respect he earned throughout his lifetime. His work and character made a lasting impression on those around him, and he was admired for his strong work ethic and generosity. Dennis enjoyed porch sitting, yard work, vehicle detailing, and visiting home bound church members.

Dennis is survived by his loving family, who will carry forward his legacy. He leaves behind his mother, Ella Frances Wright of Carrollton, KY, and his wife, Emogene Gonzal Webster of Carrollton, KY. He is also survived by his daughter, Anna Marie Webster of Carrollton, KY, and his son, Dennis Paul Webster, together with Julie, of Greensburg, IN. His sister Janice Ruth Johnson resides in Carrollton, KY; his half sister Toni Thomas, alongside her husband David, lives in Guntersville. Additionally, Dennis is remembered fondly by his half-sister, Jackie Hoberg and her husband Darrell of Pensacola, FL. 

Dennis was preceded in death by his father, Guy Webster Jr., who remains in the family’s loving memories.

Throughout his life, Dennis Guy Webster exemplified the values of loyalty, service, and family. His impact on his community and the warmth he shared with his family and friends will be remembered and cherished. He leaves behind a legacy of kindness and a life well-lived in the heart of Carroll County.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 7, from 10 am until Noon at St. John Catholic Church with Mass following at Noon. Burial will take place at St. John Catholic Cemetery.
