David Robertson

David W. Robertson, age 74, of Carrollton, KY, died Thursday, February 19, 2015 at Norton Audubon Hospital in Louisville, KY. He was born in English, Carroll County, KY on September 19, 1940 to the late Benjamin Thomas and Clytie Woodson Robertson. He served as the Carroll County Property Valuation Administrator from 1985 to 2006 retiring after 21 years of service. David also worked as store manager for Craig's Hardware and Building Supply and was a member of the Carrollton Christian Church where he served as deacon for many years. He graduated from Northern Kentucky University with a B.S. in Business Administration. He was a 50 plus years member of the Carrollton Lodge #134, F.&A.M., the Scottish Rite and was a Shriner. He enjoyed fishing, family events, Friday night dinners with close friends, morning coffee club and U.K. basketball. His survivors include; his wife, Sue Sword Robertson, whom he married on January 30, 1965, a son, Rob (Shelia) Robertson of Carrollton, KY, a grandson, Jake Robertson of Carrollton, KY, a sister, Dorothy Taylor of Pendelton, KY, two brothers, B.T. Robertson of Auburn, AL and John Robertson of Lexington, KY. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Woodson Robertson.
