Darrell Wayne Lloyd

  Darrell Wayne Lloyd, 60, of Sanders, KY, passed away on Sunday evening, March 19, 2023, in Louisville, KY.

  He was born on November 23, 1962, in Owenton, Owen County, KY, the son of the late Darrell Charlie Lloyd and Madge Davis Lloyd of Sanders, KY.  Darrell was a great handyman at fixing just about anything, especially lawnmowers.  He enjoyed buying and selling all kinds of different interesting things.  Some of his most relaxing times were spent riding around with his dog Mattie.

  Darrell will be missed by his mother; Madge Davis Lloyd of Sanders, KY,  his companion; Opal Hartman and her son; Walker of Sparta, KY, three sons; Matthew Lloyd of Bedford, KY, Aaron (Sara) Lloyd of Bedford, KY, and Andrew Lloyd of Bedford, KY, a daughter; Sarah Jo Lloyd of Bedford, KY, and a sister; Joyce Ann (Calvin) Armstrong of Sanders, KY.

  He was preceded in death by his father.

  In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be given to the Carroll County Animal Shelter in care of the funeral home.
