Darrell G. Skirvin, 61, of Carrollton, KY, died on Tuesday, April 21, 2020 at the his home in Carrollton, KY.

He was born July 15, 1958 in Covington, Kenton County, KY, the son of the Calvin Skirvin of Nashville, TN, and Barbara Louise Ashcraft Brasfield of Madison, IN.  He had worked as an independent brick mason for many years.

He is survived by his parents, his close friend and caregiver; Linda Welch of Carrollton, KY, his son; Christopher Skirvin of Nashville, TN, two daughters, Priscilla Skirvin and Cindy Skirvin of Gainesville, GA, three step-daughters; Amy Grund of Nicholasville, KY, Jamie Grund of Louisville, KY, and Jennifer Baldwin of Carrollton, KY, three brothers; James Skirvin of Clarksville, TN, David Skirvin of Carrollton, KY, and Mark Skirvin of Worthville, KY, a sister; Costance “Connie” Schott of Madison, IN, a half-brother; Randall Brassfield of Chicago, IL,  and seven grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two brothers; Dennis Wayne Skirvin and Gary Lee Skirvin and a sister; Pamela Rose Skirvin.

Private funeral services will be held at Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home with the Rev. Carroll “Bimp” McAlister officiating the service, due to the CoVid19 restrictions imposed by Governor Andy Beshear and the CDC.  A memorial service for Darrell G. Skirvin will be scheduled for a later date when restrictions are lifted.

Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
