Danni Wayne Meadows passed away on September 3, 2026, in Carrollton, Kentucky at the age of 70. He was born on August 11, 1956, in Carrollton, Kentucky.
Danni will be remembered as a man who took great joy in the people and pastimes he loved most. He enjoyed watching his grandchildren play sports, loved playing golf, was a devoted Iowa Hawkeye fan, and found happiness in listening to Rock & Roll music. Weekly dates to Mi Viejo were also among the simple pleasures that brought him joy. In his younger years, he enjoyed riding his 1957 Pan Head Harley. He was also a member of the Sons of American Legion.
Above all, Danni’s life was centered on family. He is survived by his wife, Donna Meadows of Carrollton, Kentucky. He also leaves his daughter, Amanda Meadows-Kietzman and her husband, Charlie, of Carrollton, Kentucky, his son; Drake Dennison of Carrollton, Kentucky, ; his sister, Carolyn Banks of Carrollton, Kentucky, and his brother, Bobby Meadows of Columbus, Indiana,.
He is also survived by his grandchildren, Allison Current, Chase Harp, Blayden Meadows, Angela Meadows, Bailee Scott, and Kayleigh Kietzman; and by his great-grandchildren, Madelyn Pollard, Audrey Pollard, and Laurel Jean Current. The love shared across these generations was an important part of his life, and his memory will continue to live on in each of them.
Danni was preceded in death by his father, Hazel Marcus “HM” Meadows; his mother, Betty Jean Halmess Meadows; and his brother, Mark Meadows.
Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation on September 10, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home, 809 Highland Ave, Carrollton, KY 41008. A Celebration of Life will follow at 7:00 p.m. at Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home.
He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him.
