Courtland Pleasant Howard

Courtland Pleasant Howard, 53, of Carrollton, KY, passed this life on Tuesday, October 10, 2023, at his home in Carrollton, KY, after a lengthy illness.
He was born on April 2, 1970, in Carrollton, Carroll County, KY, the son of Jerry and Marcella Young Stethen of Carrollton, KY.  He was a graduate of Carroll County High School and early in life had worked for Ison Brothers Furniture Factory in Carrollton as an assembler.
He was a member of the International Order of Odd Fellows Lodge in Carrollton, where he had previously served as Treasurer and had enjoyed traveling to attend meetings in other states.   In his spare time, he enjoyed playing bingo and watching horse racing.
He is survived by his parents, Jerry and Marcella Stethen of Carrollton, KY, a sister, Jeanette Ann Adams and her husband, Rodney of Carrollton, KY, two nephews, Alex and Ben Adams, and a niece, Danielle and her husband, Jacob Becraft.
Courtland was preceded in death by his brother, Larry Wayne Howard, Jr. on March 21, 2020.
Funeral Services were private.
