Colleen Frances Ray

  Colleen Frances Ray, 58, of Sparta, Gallatin County, KY, died on Monday, May 15, 2023, at the St. Elizabeth Hospital in Florence, KY.
 She was born on June 16, 1964, in Chicago, Cook County, IL, the daughter of Herman Couch of Palm Bay, FL, formerly of Worthville, KY, and the late Janice Heekin Couch. Colleen had previously worked for the Teledyne-Wirz Tube Factory in Carrollton and the Certainteed Gypsum plant in Carrollton, KY. In her spare time, she loved anything to do with horses and going to the beach. Her grandson was her #1 joy, and she loved spending every minute with him.
 Colleen will be missed by her father, Herman Couch of Palm Bay, FL, formerly of Worthville, KY, her husband, Mark Ray of Sparta, KY, her son, Doug (Kimber) Fain of Sparta, KY, a step-son, Jason Ray of Sparta, KY, a brother, Brian (Macie) Couch of Bedford, KY, two sisters, Sheila (Muffett) Chowning of Carrollton, KY, and Lisa (Al) King of Palm Bay, FL, and her loving grandson, Korbin Fain of Sparta, KY.
 She was preceded in death by her mother.
