Born on March 10, 1964, in Carrollton, Randy was a cherished son, devoted companion, and dear friend to many. He will be remembered for his skills as a welder, his love for adventure, and his kindhearted nature.

Randy's journey began in Bedford where he attended Trimble County High School. After completing his education, he pursued a career as a certified welder. With dedication and passion for his craft, Randy became known for his impeccable workmanship and attention to detail.

Beyond his career accomplishments, Randy had a zest for life that was infectious. He found solace in the great outdoors through hunting and fishing; these activities served as both sources of relaxation and avenues for forging memories with loved ones. Riding motorcycles brought him exhilaration while cruising along scenic routes. Randy's adventurous spirit also led him to attend auctions and gun shows where he indulged in discovering unique treasures.

Though Randy embraced a life filled with exploration and excitement, nothing compared to the joy he found when spending quality time with his faithful feline companion, Spivi. Their bond was heartwarming to witness as they provided each other comfort and companionship.

Throughout his life journey, Randy was blessed by the presence of cherished family members and friends. He shared a special bond with his father Clarence Thomas "Tommy" Roberts who preceded him in death. Although saddened by his loss, Randy found solace in the strength of those who survive him. His mother Lucy Rae Payton Roberts remained an unwavering pillar of support during both joyous occasions and times of sorrow.

Additionally, Angie Meadows stood as Randy's loving companion through thick and thin. Her unwavering love and dedication provided him with comfort and happiness. Randy's warmth and genuine affection touched the lives of countless others, leaving lasting memories that will forever be cherished.

To honor Randy's life and offer support during this difficult time, visitation services will be held on February 24, 2024, from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home located at 809 Highland Ave in Carrollton, KY. Friends and family are invited to pay their respects and share in the memories of a remarkable individual.

A funeral service commemorating Randy's life will follow the visitation at the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home at 1:00 PM. During this time, we will come together as a community to celebrate Randy's achievements, embrace one another with love and support, and bid farewell to a truly remarkable individual.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be given to the Wreaths Across America or the American Heart Association in care of the funeral home.
