Christopher Shane Kelly, a self-employed real estate appraiser, passed away on November 10, 2023, in Carrollton, KY, at the age of 48. He was born on March 20, 1975, in Louisville, Kentucky. 

With a bright and funny personality, Christopher had a knack for bringing joy to those around him. He possessed a unique sense of humor that could lighten even the heaviest of hearts. His infectious laughter and quick wit were cherished by family and friends alike.

Christopher's educational journey began with his graduation from Carroll County High School in 1994. Eager to further his knowledge and skills, he went on to attend Eastern Kentucky University as well as Real Estate Appraisal School. These experiences equipped him with the expertise to thrive in his career as a real estate appraiser.

In addition to his professional pursuits, Christopher enjoyed various hobbies and interests. He found solace and tranquility while fishing and embraced the competitive spirit as he played pool. These activities allowed him precious moments of relaxation and camaraderie with loved ones.

A loving father, Christopher leaves behind a legacy of immense love and devotion. He is survived by his father Randy Kelly of Eminence, KY; his mother Linda McDole Clark of Prestonville, KY; his stepmother Vicki Kelly of Eminence, KY; his former loving wife Carrie Kelly of Elizabethtown, KY; his three daughters Shayna Kelly, Tiphany Braden, and Maranda Martin all of Elizabethtown, KY; his son Mark Martin of Sonora, KY; his brother Jason Kelly of Carrollton, KY; his half-brother Bryan Kelly of Owenton, KY; his stepbrother David Osborne of Eminence, KY; his stepsisters Tammy Carpenter of Eminence, KY, Tonya Gibson of Campbellsburg, KY, Teresa Hill of Shelbyville, KY, Lisa Tindall of Vine Grove, KY, Tracy Beverly of Eminence, KY, and Tiffany Clark of Carrollton, KY  his beloved nephew Logan Kelly of Carrollton, KY. Additionally, he leaves behind five grandchildren who will forever cherish their memories with him.

To honor Christopher's life and pay our final respects, visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 15, 2023, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home located at 809 Highland Ave in Carrollton, KY. Following the visitation, a funeral service is scheduled to commence at 1:00 PM at the funeral home on Wednesday, November 15, 2023, with the Rev. Dave Woosley officiating the service.  Interment will take place in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Carrollton, KY.

Christopher Shane Kelly's departure has left an indelible void in the hearts of those who knew him. May his loved ones find solace in the cherished memories they shared with him and draw strength from their enduring bond. He will forever be remembered as a light whose radiance continues to touch the lives of those he left behind.
