Charles Dolby

April 4, 1914 — November 16, 2004

Mr. Dolby was born in Carroll County, Kentucky to Charles Morton and Virgie Ann Horine Dolby. He was a retired Farmer and former employee of Kentucky Ladder Co. He was an active member of the Ghent Baptist Church where he had served as a deacon, trustee, Sunday School director and the Adult Men's Sunday School Teacher. Mort was a member of Carrollton Lodge #134 F.& A.M. and a Kentucky Colonel.

Survivors include his son John N. Dolby, Sr. and his wife Mary Elaine of Carrollton, Kentucky, a sister, Virginia Hendricks of Carrollton, Kentucky, Grandchildren, John Dolby, Jr., James Morton Dolby, Christopher Jason Dolby and Kayla Martin and Six Great Grandchildren.

Preceding him death in addition to his parents, his wife, Christine Wilson Dolby,3 half-sisters, Lavenia, Valera and Verna Mae,a half-brother, Harlan.

Rev. Emory Eldridge will officiate the service and Mr. Ken Massey will deliver the eulogy.

Masonic Services will be held at 7:00 P.M. - Thursday evening.

Serving as pallbearers will be; James Morton Dolby, Christopher Jason Dolby, John Dolby, Jr., Jim Froman, Jim Sapp and Bobby Allphin. Honorary pallbearers will be; David Hoskins and Ken Massey.

Memorial gifts may be made to the New Liberty Baptist Church Building Fund in care of the funeral home.
