Brenda Gail Flannery

Brenda Gail Flannery, 75, of Carrollton, KY, passed away in Louisville, Kentucky, on Wednesday, February 21, 2024. She was born on October 30, 1948, in Ezel, KY, and throughout her life, she touched the of many with her kindness and dedication.

Brenda dedicated over 35 years of her life working as a waitress at Bob Evans in Mason, Ohio, where she became a familiar and cherished face among patrons and colleagues. Her commitment to her job was unwavering, and her warm smile brightened the days of those around her.

Outside of work, Brenda found immense joy in spending time with her family. Whether it was creating lasting memories with her children Melissa Sturgeon Of La Grange, KY, and Monta Flannery of Carrollton, KY, or sharing special moments with her grandchildren and great grandchild, family always remained at the center of Brenda's life.

She was preceded in death by her parents Eller Taulbee Fugett and Wendall Fugett, as well as her brothers Doug Fugett and Craig Cummings. She now rests in peace, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished moments.

Brenda is survived by her daughter Melissa Sturgeon, son Monta Flannery, sister Judy Batze, sister Glenda Fugett, three grandchildren, one great grandchild, and a host of other family members and friends who will miss her dearly.

May Brenda Gail Flannery be remembered for the love she shared, the lives she touched, and the joy she brought to all who knew her. She will forever hold a special place in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing her.

A Celebration of her Life will be announced at a later date.
