Billy Joe Moore, 71, of Carrollton, KY., died on Monday evening, oCTOBER 8, 2007 at the Green Valley Health & Rehab. Center in Carrollton, KY.
He was born in Pendleton, Henry County, KY to James Moore and Martha Jackson Moore. He retired from Raytheon Co. in California as a heavy equipment operator, and a member of Open Door Church in Sligo, Ky. He is a US Army National Guard Veteran of the Vietnam Era and a Life Member of the Disabled American Veterans.
His survivors include his Mother, Martha Jackson Moore of Reno, NV, a sister, Norma Ingrath of Reno, NV, 3 brothers, Ernie, Roy and Ronnie Moore all of Reno, NV, 2 sons, Dallas and Billy Moore and daughter, Linda Moore and several garndchildren and his fiance, Maggie Burgin of Carrollton, KY. He was preceded in death by his father, and a brother, Jim Moore.
Services were officiated by Rev. Linda Morgan on Thursday, October 11, 2007 at the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home and Military Honors at the Cemetery were conducted by members of the American Legion Post #41 - Carrollton, KY.
