Betty Irene (Kendall) Puckett, born on August 1, 1946, in Carrollton, Carroll County, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on August 26, 2025, with her family by her side. A devoted member of the Landmark Apostolic Church in Madison, Indiana, Betty led a life filled with love, faith, and community service.
For many years, Betty served as a Client Transit Driver for Senior Services of Northern Kentucky and individuals at the North Key Workshop, where she was known for her kindness and dedication to the elderly. Her compassion extended beyond her professional life into her personal passions, where she enjoyed crafting and willingly lent her voice as a choir leader in various churches. Betty also found joy in attending yard sales, cherishing the moments she spent seeking treasures alongside her loved ones.
Betty is survived by her daughter, Mindy Joy Kathleen Puckett of Carrollton, KY, and her two sons, Frank Glynn (Buffy JoAnn Smith) Puckett, Jr. of Bedford, KY, and William Kendall (Melissa Ann Knox) Puckett of Ghent, KY. Her legacy will live on through her eight grandchildren, who will forever hold dear the memories they created with their beloved grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William Luther Kendall and Josephine Ogburn Kendall, as well as her husband, Frank Glynn Puckett, Sr. Betty was also preceded by her sisters, Delba Kathleen "Kay" Kendall, Lili Beulah Kendall Coghill, Carol Jean Coghill, Rose Lou Kendall, and her brother, Curtis Meade Kendall.
Friends and family are invited to honor Betty’s memory during the visitation services on Friday, August 29, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and again on Saturday, August 30, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, both held at The Pentecostals of Carrollton The Refuge, located at 220 Port William Lane, Carrollton, KY 41008. A funeral service will follow on Saturday, August 30, 2025, at 11:00 AM, where all who knew and loved Betty can come together to celebrate her remarkable life. Interment will take place in the English Cemetery near Carrollton, KY.
In this time of sorrow, we remember and honor Betty Irene Puckett—a cherished mother, grandmother, and friend whose spirit will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to know her.
