Bertha Harrison, 91, of Carrollton, KY., died on Sunday evening, December 16, 2007 at the Green Valley Health & Rehab. Center in Carrollton, KY.
She was born on June 23, 1916 in Carroll Co., KY., the daughter of Virgil and Hattie Young Vories. She was a housewife and of the Wesleyan faith.
Survivors include her husband;Harold Harrison of Locksburg, AR., two daughters; Joyce Beverly and Brenda S. Perkins of Carrollton, KY., a son; Douglas Harmon of Lafayette, IN., a sister; Mary Virginia Clubb - Bremen, GA., 15 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her 1st husband; Calvin E. Harmon, her 2nd husband; J.D. Roberts, two son's; Paul J. Harmon and Major James E. Harmon, a sister; Bessie Scales, five brothers; Chester, Edgar, Calvin, Paul and Spider Vories.
Funeral Services were conducted on Thursday, December 20, 2007 at the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home by the Rev. Chris White. Burial was in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Carrollton, KY.
Arrangements were entrusted with the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home.
