Ashleigh Renay Cobb-Temple, a beloved individual who had a passion for working with flowers, passed away at the age of 22 on Wednesday, May 1, 2024. Born on November 15, 2001, in Louisville, Kentucky, Ashleigh's life was a testament to love, warmth, and creativity. She was fondly known as the "Sunshine in the Rain" due to her bright and cheerful personality that could uplift anyone's spirits.
Throughout her life, Ashleigh found joy in tending to gardens and creating beauty with flowers. Her green thumb and artistic touch brought smiles to all who encountered her creations. Not only did she have a talent for floral work, but she also had a love for singing, dancing, and simply being goofy, showcasing her carefree and fun-loving nature.
In her career and hobbies, Ashleigh's vibrant spirit shone through, leaving a lasting impact on those around her. Her presence will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
Ashleigh is survived by her loving family: her father Ahley Cobb, Jr. of Smithfield, KY; mother Trista Renee Temple of Bedford, KY; sisters Emmaley Elizabeth Rachel Cobb of Bedford, KY, Savannah Gayle Marie Hendricks of Bedford, KY, Miley Gayle Rowlett of New Liberty, KY, Kaedynce Cara Michelle Brewer of Smithfield, KY, Bobbi Ray Morgan of Bedford KY; Alma Grace Morgan of La Grange KY; brothers Elijah O'Rion Cobb of Bedford KY; Leland Dwayne Temple of Bedford KY.
A visitation in memory of Ashleigh will be held on Thursday, May 9th from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home in Carrollton. The funeral service will take place on Friday, May 10th at 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home with the Rev. Carroll "Bimp" McAlister officiating the service. Interment will take place in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Carrollton, KY.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be given to the family, in care of the funeral home. Please make any checks to Ashley Cobb, Jr.
