Arjulia "Julia" McCormick

Arjulia "Julia" Ruth Dixon McCormick, 77, of Ghent, KY, died on Monday, January 4, 2016 at the Baptist Health in LaGrange, KY.
She was born on February 14, 1938 in Henry County, KY the daughter of the late Perry Arnold Dixon and Fannie Grey Downey Dixon. She was a lifelong farmer and enjoyed canning and gardening.
She is survived by her husband, Jerry Wayne McCormick of Ghent, KY, four sons, Ernest E. (Pauline) Aldridge of Bedford, KY, James G. (Teresa) Aldridge of Scipio, IN, William J. (Kim) Aldridge of Bedford, KY, Frankie L. (Alison) Aldridge of Ghent, KY, a daughter, Christina A. Watson of Carrollton, KY, three brothers, Bill Dixon of Carrollton, KY, John D. Dixon of New Castle, KY, and Robert Dixon of Carrollton, KY, four sisters, Nell Mahoney of New Castle, KY, Martha S. (Robert) Frazier of Carrollton, KY, Mary Dixon of New Castle, KY, and Mattie Lee Stivers of Carrollton, KY, eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren also survive.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Perry Aldridge, and three brothers, David Dixon, Charles Dixon and Wheeler "Bugs" Woods.
Arrangements are entrusted with the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home.
Visitation
Visitation will be on Wednesday, January 6, 2016 from 5:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. at the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home.
Funeral
Funeral Services will be on Thursday, January 7, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. at the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home with the Rev. Bobby Wade officiating the service.
Interment
Burial will be in the English Cemetery in Carrollton, KY.
