Alice Searcy

Alice E. Searcy, 88, of Carrollton, KY., died on Saturday afternoon at the King's Daughters'Hospital in Madison, IN.

She was born in Louisville, Jefferson County, Kentucky the daughter of the late Clarence and Margaret Coleman Sanders. Alice was a homemaker and a member of the Carrollton Christian Church. She was a graduate of the University of Kentucky and a member of the U.K. Alumni, other memberships include Daughters of the American Revolution and the Port William Historical Society.

Survivors include a son; Tom Searcy of Nicholasville, KY., a daughter; Susan Enlow of Lexington, KY., and two grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband; Raymond Perry Searcy in 1983 and one brother; Zachary "ZT" Taylor Sanders.

The Rev. Amanda Hines will conduct the funeral service on Wednesday at the church.

In Lieu of Flowers Memorial Gifts may be given to Carrollton Christian Church, 310 Fifth St., Carrollton, KY 41008.

The Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
