Alice Lucille Edmond Bowens, age 79, of Carrollton, Ky died Monday, March 2, 2015 at Baptist Health LaGrange in LaGrange, Oldham County, KY. She was born on October 25, 1935 in Pennington Gap, Lee County, VA to the late Robert and Bertha Johnson Edmond. She retired as a custodian of Kathryn Winn Primary School in Carrollton, KY.
Her survivors include: two sons; Bruce A. Bowens of Carrollton, KY and Tony L. (Laurie) Bowens of Carrollton, KY, one sister; Avis Edmond of Jonesville, VA, three grandchildren and five great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband; Hubert R. Bowens in 2005, two infant sons; Randy Bowens and Robert Bowens, a sister; Evelyn Lewis and a brother; Burl Edmond.
