Adrian Owen

Adrian Owen, 86, of Ghent, Carroll County, KY, died on Tuesday, December 16, 2014 at the Carroll County Memorial Hospital in Carrollton, with his family by his side. He was born on April 24, 1928 in Ghent, Carroll County, KY, the loving son of the late William Rueben Owen and Aggie Mae Beard Owen. He was a retired Rural Mail Carrier and a farmer. He had worked for the Teledyne - Wirz Factory in Carrollton for several years. He was a member of the former Ghent Christian Church.

He will be missed by his loving wife, Norma Jean Stewart Owen of Ghent, KY, a son, Steve (Tina) Owen of Ghent, KY, four daughters, Anita (John) Wood of Milton, KY, Patty (Johnny) Vannarsdall of Carrollton, KY, Sandra McDole of Ghent, KY, and Deana Owen of Bedford, KY, a sister, Norma Lloyd of Carrollton, KY, eleven grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents, two daughters, Sharon Clifton and Debbie Owen, three sisters, Jessie Lee Seiler, Leta Mae Perkins and Virginia Bradley, three brothers, William Owen, Frank M. Owen and Bernard Owen. He was also preceded in death by a loving nephew, Roger Owen.

Visitation

Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. - 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, December 20, 2014 at the funeral home.

Funeral

Funeral Services will be on Saturday, December 20, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. at the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home.

Interment

Burial will be in the Ghent Masonic Cemetery in Ghent, KY.
