Thelma Dixon

Thelma Louise Barnes Dixon, 58, of New Castle, KY, died on Saturday, June 1, 2019 at her home in New Castle, KY.

She was born on June 2, 1960, the daughter of Robert Matthew Barnes and Patricia Ann Stout Barnes.  She worked as a  private caregiver and babysitter.  She dearly loved her dogs and was of the Baptist faith.

She is survived by her husband, Robert Dixon of New Castle, KY, her daughters, Tina (Ron) Dixon Carlton of New Castle, KY, and Bobbie (Roger) Dixon Combs of Campbellsville, KY, two sisters, Connie (Thomas) Barnes Evens of Carrollton, KY, and Barbara (Larry Wainscott) Barnes Bishop of New Castle, KY, a brother, Donald Lynn (Shirley) Barnes Stout of Punta Gorda, FL, six grandchildren, Brittany Martin, Kaleb Martin, Mariah Martin, Landon and Logan Combs and Rylee Carlton, along with several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Robert “Spike” Barnes.

Arrangements are entrusted with the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home.
