Delanea Perkins Simo Ruzo, age 50, of Carrollton, KY died Friday, November 10, 2017 at the Carroll County Memorial Hospital. She was born in Carrollton, Carroll County, KY on January 10, 1967 to Dale Perkins, Sr. and Carolyn Howard Perkins. Delanea attended the Carrollton Wesleyan Church, was a Deputy Clerk at the Carroll County Clerk’s office and formerly coached little league cheerleading.
She is survived by her husband, Leandro “Alex” Simo Ruzo, a daughter, Carmen Alexa Simo Perkins of Carrollton, KY, her father, Dale Perkins of Carrollton, KY and a brother, Clifford J. Perkins of Trimble County, KY, and a niece she was raising, Logan Danielle Martin. She was preceded in death by her mother, Carolyn Howard Courtney, a sister, Kellie Perkins Martin and a brother Dale Perkins, Jr.
