Carolyn Henry

Carolyn C. Henry, age 74, of Ghent, KY died on Friday, August 17, 2018 at the Norton’s Brownsboro Hospital in Louisville, KY.  She was born on September 3, 1943 in Carroll County to Charles (Sr.) and Ella Temple Ogburn Cardwell.  She was a member of Ghent Baptist Church where she was active in the W.M.U., she was a devoted volunteer at the Green Valley Health and Rehabilitation Center when she was able and was a homemaker.

Survivors include her husband; Jimmy Henry, a son, Jimmy D. (Mary) Henry of Ghent, KY, six grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Ann Barr, three brothers, Phillip Cardwell, Charles Cardwell, Jr. and Ronald Cardwell, and a grandson, Joshua Lusty.
